Doctors

simDr Fiona M Sim BSc(hons) MB BS DFSRH MSc LLM FRCP FFPH
Fiona Sim has been a Luton GP since 2004. She combines her work as a GP with specialist interest in preventive medicine, public health and education, training and research.

As a GP, she is a generalist, but particularly enjoys helping families with children, and improving the wellbeing of women and children and the wider community.

When not here at the Practice, Fiona is working in research and teaching in London to improve population health and also has an honorary position at the University of Bedfordshire.

simDr Rajeev Kaja MBBCh, BAO, BA, MRCGP, DFSRH
Rajeev Kaja was born in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland and grew up in the West Midlands. He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2003 after which he worked in Stafford as a junior doctor. He trained to be a GP in Southport before moving down to Luton in February 2009.

His interests include Diabetes and Occupational medicine. He is also keen to develop a special interest in medical education and sports medicine. His passions include sports (particularly Liverpool football club, Cricket and Rugby), travel, movies and information technology. He is married with no children.

simDr Anthea Bond MBBCh, DRCOG
Anthea Bond was born in Stoke -on Trent and grew up in the Midlands. She graduated from Birmingham University and has been a full-time GP for 16 years in Hertfordshire.

She enjoys general practice very much and has a special interest in mental health and psychiatry in all age groups. Interests outside work include reading, yoga and dancing.

Practice Manager

Rubee Ahmed is responsible for all staff and provision of patient services, and for the overall smooth running of the practice

Practice Nurses

Amanda Yerby is an experienced practice nurse. Particular interests include minor illness, womens health and travel health.
Sakeena Margaret is an experienced practice nurse with particular skills in childhood immunisations, travel healthcare & vaccinations, woundcare & assessment, dressings, and well women issues.

Healthcare Assistant

Pauline Welland helps the Practice Nurses by running blood taking clinics, taking blood pressures and routine new patient checks.
